Unsaid Emotions
It seemed as if happiness was the theme of the occasion,
Everybody had expectations from the new bride,
The newly married couple looked into each other’s eyes and promised a lot many things,
The groom caught hold of her hand assured her that they will live happily thereafter,
Apart from all the happiness, the pain of letting go of his baby girl was somewhat killing him from inside.
He wondered “Will he able to look after my girl as I did?”,
”Will she be happy without me?”
“How can I even pass my days without her being by my side?”
Above all...
“Will he be able to tolerate all her silly talks and mood swings?”, her dad smiled with a tear rolling down his eyes.
The girl saw her dad and rushed towards him, hugged him tightly and never wanted to let him go, she cried her heart out and uttered “No one can replace you Dad, You be the best”
Even at that moment he did not want the pain he was going through to be noticed by his baby girl, so he bid her goodbye with a wide smile on his face and blessed her with all he could.
But as usual, she found out his unexpressed emotions and caught hold of his hand and looked into his eyes and said “Even though I may be called as a new bride to his family, but I will always remain your same old baby girl Dad”
