You have a blessing, that you are imperfect
……you just don’t know it yet.

Ever wondered why we try to prove ourselves as perfect, to others?
Why do we try to be someone else, in order to be likable?

Let me tell you that you are not the only one doing that.
Everybody has done it at some point in their lives.
So have I.

Striving for perfection is not the same as portraying perfection.
But we need constant reminders — that it is okay to NOT be perfect at all times.
Don’t we?

We live in a world of non-stop comparison.
Everybody is trying to be at the summit of Mt. Perfection.
Nobody is okay with being who they are — normal, full of faults, and flaws.
Instead of embracing faults, the focus is on flaunting momentary perfections.

“Don’t compare your life to others. There’s no comparison between the Sun and the Moon, they shine when it’s their time.”

I read this a few days ago and it hit me, hard!
Such depth in that quote.

We often compare ourselves with others…but why?
What exactly are we trying to prove? To whom? And for what?

Take a moment and ask yourself — “Is this my worth?”

There are people who will love you with all your weirdness, madness and the kid inside you. You only need to look, reach out, and connect.

Stop pretending, stop assuming.
Start interacting, start connecting.
Have someone to celebrate with. That is how you will be YOU.

Always be aware that perfection is not the endgame. If it were, you’d be disappointed, surely. I would suggest that you rather celebrate your cracks and flaws. Your experience of life will be enjoyable, inspiring, and far more beautiful.

Repeat after me:
”It’s okay to make mistakes,
It’s okay to have a bad day,
It’s okay if you cannot make everybody happy,
It’s okay to do what’s best for you,
It’s okay to let go
and above all,
It’s okay to be yourself.”

Be imperfect.
That’s perfect :)
